About

I’m a data scientist and educator based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. I believe in the power of data to make better decisions and improve our lives.

Since moving to Mongolia in 2012 I have worked with journalists, international NGOs, and companies to better understand Mongolia through data. I’ve been a fixer for a Discovery Channel show, worked on Capitol Hill, flipped a Land Cruiser on the Mongolian steppe, helped my wife launch a jewelry empire, and a lot more. At the end of the day I still like digging into a pile of data and finding some answers.
